Michael O'Brien
After a number of years in Information Technology, Michael O'Brien redirected his IT knowledge, and his natural ability to help people, and began his career as an IT Recruiter. He worked in the recruitment industry in Ireland for 5 years before relocating to New York in 1993. He immediately slotted into an IT Recruiter role, and quickly progressed to VP of Recruiting within a large recruitment firm on Wall St.
Michael resigned from that position in 2002, and established OB Recruitment in response to the increased demand in the market for quality recruitment services. He was motivated by the opportunity it offered him to control his own future, and put his own stamp on the NYC Recruitment service industry. He now has accumulated extensive experience in the recruitment industry, and has an vast network of clients and candidates.
His guiding principles have consistently revolved around the importance of Patience, Persistence, and Focus, which he regards as essential elements for achieving maximum success in locating the ideal candidates for his clients.
